 Творчество данной группы берет свои истоки в 2002 году. Тогда, на заре своей карьеры, ребята начинали с того, что играли каверы на известные коллективы. Затем они потихоньку перебрались в такой стиль, как melodic death metal, из которого, в итоге, эволюционировали в death thrash metal, где все еще чувствуется сильное влияние мелодик-дэтовых элементов.
Знакомство с их первым полноформатным альбомом "Carbon Black" можно сравнить с прочтением не очень интересной книги, когда глаза читателя, вроде бы, пристально впились в ее страницы, но мысли его, при этом, отвлеченно витают где-то далеко в облаках. Весь альбом проходит через уши слушателя, как чистая вода через сито, ни на секунду не задерживаясь в голове. Стоит немного отвлечься при прослушивании, как пол-альбома незаметно пролетели, ни оставив после себя ни малейших воспоминаний. Лишь после неоднократного проигрывания сего творения в плеере, можно запомнить несколько незатейливых мелодий.
Вроде бы и музыканты хорошо постарались, напичкали свою работу неплохими соло и мощными риффами. Вокалист тоже не сплоховал: обладая неплохими голосовыми данными, он смог выжать из них почти максимум. Но все равно не то, не цепляет "Carbon Black", сколько раз его ни слушай. Из всех композиций хоть какой-то след в памяти остается лишь от треков "Misleading" и "Engines of Oppression", который "спасает" обилие красивых соло и нечасто появляющийся на альбоме чистый вокал.
Из-за банального однообразия, помноженного на отсутствие запоминающихся мелодий, эти талантливые музыканты рискуют в дальнейшем быть бесславно забытыми своими и без того немногочисленными поклонниками. |
