 Вторая пластинка Цидонии, мне, в отличии от первой, не понравилась. За 3 года, прошедшие между записями двух альбомов, музыканты существенно поменяли стиль, уйдя от мелодичного speed-power'а и придя к… даже затрудняюсь точно классифицировать. Дух предыдущего альбома присутствует, пожалуй, только в первой композиции, да и то она очень сильно отличается от прежней Цидонии.
Инструментальная часть "Тёмного Цветка" стала жёстче, гитарный звук потяжелел и стал «грязным», как у альтернативных и ню-металлических команд. Вокалист почти перестал брать верхние ноты, нередко похрипывает, а также частенько использует речитатив. Структура песен стала сложнее и даже хаотичнее, в результате чего трудно бывает уловить мелодию. Обилие электронных фишек вызывает сравнение с ню-металлом, а фрагменты атмосферного саунда близки к прог-металлу. Не имея ничего против означенных направлений, хочу заметить, что музыке Цидонии это не пошло на пользу.
Результат – в "Тёмном Цветке" нет и близко того драйва и запоминаемости песен, какими отмечалась дебютная работа. Быстрых фрагментов очень мало, что также не добавляет веселья. Неудачный альбом, ИМХО! |
