 Когда старость берет свое, некогда длинные волосы седеют многих рок музыкантов мучает одна мысль - что делать дальше?
Бывает три типа развития событий. Первые уходят на покой, дав на прощание последние концерты. Вторые ездят на гастроли и кормят фэнов бесконечными концертниками с набором стародавних хитов. И наконец третьи, которых к сожалению очень мало на старости лет вдруг записывают ТАКИЕ альбомы что хочется не то что снять шляпу, а всю голову вместе с ней! Именно к третьей группе относятся Rush. Пройдя творческий путь длинной более двадцати лет они выдали ТАКОЙ альбом от кторого хоть стой хоть падай! 14-ая работа Rush поражает своей энэргией плещущей изо всех динамиков проигрывателя. ПОЛНЫЙ отказ от клавишных, ТЯЖЕЛЕЙШИЙ звук гитар, громоподобные раскаты барабанов и тарелок - вот что такое Counterparts. Каким макаром группа забрела в такие дебри совершенно непонятно, а самое главное - понимать не хочется. Хочется слушать, слушать и слушать. Музыкальное ассорти на любой вкус - втаптывающая риффами в землю Stick It Out, разгоняющая родственников в радиусе десяти метров Cut To The Chase, позитивно плясовая Between Sun And Moon, легкая и возвышенная The Speed Of Love, светлая и добрая Everyday Glory, на этом альбоме каждый найдет для себя что то свое, любимое до поросячьего визга. Я лично нашел три таких композиции - удивительная сентенция к Джеймсу Бонду и прочим шпионам Double Agent, трогательная до слез и пробивающая наскозь (без шуток, я почти плакал) Nobody's Hero c оркестром на заднем плане, и наконец ОНО - Animate. Я ничего не могу написать про эту песню, просто нет слов. В общем Rush превзошли самих себя, они сделали не просто высококлассный но и РАЗНООБРАЗНЫЙ альбом к которому даже и ярлыков типа прог-арт-хэви не прилепишь. Лучшая работа Rush со времен Moving Pictures и однозначный кандидат в Top 5 всех альбомов этих гениев от музыки. |
