 Очередной переизданный альбом американцев оккупирует мой проигрыватель уже третий день, тогда как первые две работы не задержались даже на один. Что ж, ребята явно остепенились. Мальчишеский угар бесследно исчез, вместо истерически-юношеской атмосферы появилась мистика и основательность. Темп значительно замедлился, музыка теперь скорее похожа на стандартный американский дэт, нежели на трэш. Такое впечатление, что группа устала быстро играть и решила ради разнообразия сделать нечто тягучее и спокойное. Конечно, трешевые моменты остались, но даже в них больше нет того панковского протеста, который слышался в каждой ноте на предыдущих альбомах. В общем, это уже совсем другая музыка. Внушительные и довольно интересные дэтовые риффы, четкие запоминающиеся мелодии, хриплый гроулинг сразу дают понять, что группа выросла в профессиональном плане, музыка в целом стала гораздо интереснее и ярче. Оригинальности, конечно, нет и в помине, но в качестве ненавязчивой музыки для развлечения альбом вполне может понравится поклонникам американского дэт-трэша. К тому же, несмотря на исчезнувший максимализм, эмоции все же никуда не делись. Их по-прежнему очень много, пусть и выражены они теперь по-другому. Порадовала запись, на порядок лучше, чем на прежних работах, а вот с оформлением опять такая же беда – абсолютно безликая внешность диска не побуждает желания открывать буклет. descend into madness. Bay of pigs. Force-fed. Gone rotten.

dead man's bed. Full of blind oppression reality. Chalk body
outline the sentence for your crime. Gone insane. Blowtorch.
