На нынешнее время существует около 50 тыс. групп, с исполнением различных стилей и жанров. И из этой огромнейшей кучи метала тяжело выбрать действительно хорошую и достойную нашего внимания музыку. Одни являют собой лишь подобие групп, другие же покоряют толпу и восходят на вершины. Но есть группы, которые будоражат и разрывают своими аккордами чувства и плоть человека, но не способны подняться на пьедестал. Примером таких составов является венгерская группа Ektomorf, основанная в 1994 году братьями Фаркашами, Золтаном (вокал, гитара) и Сабо (бас). Первый альбом был выпущен в 1996 году и, так скажем, не произвел ни фурора, ни краха группы. Однако последующие альбомы радовали слушателей мощным, агрессивным вокалом и жёсткими ритмами, за что их зачастую сравнивали с Soulfly. Вот и в 2006 Ektomorf выпустили свой новый альбом "Outcast" (Отверженный, Изгой). Альбом приятно удивил характерным для Angry Thrash Core грубым вокалом и агрессивным мотивами. В началах песен играют народные вступления, благодаря которым Ektomorf приписывают также черты Ethno металла. Всё это необычайно гармонируя между собой, вызывает прилив энергии, буквально погружая в транс. Особенно порадовало отступление от сходства с Soulfly, группа приобрела некую свою индивидуальность. Это видно по живому исполнению композиций и забивным текстам. Я могу с точностью сказать, что в этот альбом эктоморфовцы вложили всю свою силу и импульс, сделав его достойнейшим представителем своего стиля. |

В нынешнем трэшкоре редко встретишь альбомы, пронизанные одной мыслью, одной идеей и единым звучанием. То, что не получилось в своё время у Soulfly - соблюсти все эти элементы, прекрасно вышло у Ektomorf - сносящий напор естественного, простого агрессивного трэша просто напросто замыкает уставший от деструктива мозг и погружает в транс.
На мой взгляд - величайшая работа. Возможно, для кого-то Ektomorf простоват своим звучанием, но именно в своей кажущейся простоте и кроется вся его прелесть. «Outcast» смело можно зачислить в один ряд с таким замечательным альбомом, как «Chaos A.D.» Sepultura. |
