 На шестой работе Centinex «Diabolical Desolation», по сравнению с предыдущими альбомами, в части музыкального содержания каких-то кардинальных изменений не произошло. И я вновь слышу преимущественно среднетемповый death metal, разбавленный black и thrash metal-ом, и сыгранный уже в привычной манере этих шведов. Но если на «Hellbrigade» наблюдались частые и, главное, продолжительные мелодичные соляки, то здесь эти самые соло не такие продолжительные, но не менее мелодичные, а порой и очень даже красивые. Но красивые в рамках того злого дэта, который и нарезают парни. А из всех композиций особенно я выделил бы трэк «A War Symphony». Здесь уже само название песни говорит, что надо готовиться к чему-то мелодичному, но жесткому и бронебойно-зажигательному. И эта вещица всегда будет Вас гнать неспешно, но очень уверенно только в атаку. Если же отмечать качество самой записи, то звук на «Diabolical Desolation» на должном уровне, но, как это уже повелось, партиям ударных не хватает мощи и ясности. А в целом вполне очевидно, что получилась достаточно хорошая работа, но при наличии в дискографии у Centinex таких сильных альбомов, как «Reborn Through Flames» и «Hellbrigade» было бы неприлично несправедливо отмечать «Diabolical...» высоким баллом. Но все же, как мне кажется, моя оценка вполне объективна. |
