 Пожалуй, жуткая аббревиатура "USBM", которой были окрещены североамериканские анклавы, пораженные черной пандемией, сейчас носит скорее отрицательный смысл, нежели положительный: уж больно много откровенного мусора было опубликовано под этим ярлыком. Тем не менее, отдельные деяния тамошних черных актов оказались столь громкими, что были услышаны и в Старом Свете – как, например, творения диавольского "Культа Азазеля".
"Культ" – верно, одна из самых консервативных и стабильных групп на современной BM-сцене: из альбома в альбом они усердно проводят свою еретическую нить, воплощенную в традиционно смазанных и высоких (однако, весьма мелодичных) риффах и атмосфере, удачно совмещающей традиционную блэковую мизантропию с эпическими нотками. На "The World…" (как, очевидно, и на всех релизах сего акта) слушателя ожидает скоростной, драйвовый и одновременно в чем-то торжественный, но немного монотонный блэк. Гитара Ксафана – словно факел, чадящий смрадным черным дымом, который выкрывает беззащитный мозг слушателя жирным слоем копоти, заползает в извилины и исподволь травит его, обращая в прах. Основа барабанных партий – прежде всего упругий, практически не прерывающийся бластбит по бочке, который дополняется для разнообразия постукиваниями по прочим ударным инструментам. От всего этого богохульного разврата не отстает и вокал Зула – смачный, "нажористый" грим, напоминающий работу Мортууса из Marduk. Отмечать лучшие композиции не вижу смысла, потому как весь материал выдержан на одинаково высоком уровне, притом он весьма разнообразен: "культисты" не зацикливаются только лишь на высоких скоростях и подкидывают также и размеренные треки. Посему полно здесь и жестких боевиков (таких, как, например, "As Temples Burn"), и по-настоящему эпических вещей ("Trampling the Cross").
Без всяких сомнений, "The World…" – один из сильнейших релизов в своем жанре. Ортодоксальным блэкарям пропускать этот опус нежелательно: столь выдающиеся работы нечасто выходят "из-под пера" даже давно зарекомендовавших себя европейских козлищ.
P.S. Некоторые участники "Культа", приличествует заметить, не какие-то хамы, а самые что ни на есть официальные члены Церкви Сатаны. Так что осторожнее! |
