То, что «не стареют душой ветераны», это, конечно, здорово, но вовсе не так здорово, когда почти что классики жанра ни с того, ни с сего начинают копировать тех, кто сам в свое время шел по их стопам. Вынуждена констатировать, что на новом альбоме Silent Force собственно от Silent Force остался только уникальный вокал ДиСи Купера, но зато можно найти множество музыкальных аналогий, начиная с классики хард-рока в лице Dio и заканчивая хэппи-пауэром. Причем последний представлен целым спектром групп: тут тебе и неоклассика At Vance, и стеб Edguy, и «скорострельность» Sonata Arctica, и брутальность Brainstorm. Местами похожесть на вышеперечисленные группы становится столь очевидной, что возникает ощущение, что ДиСи просто прикалывается - ну не может же он серьезно подражать им всем вместе! Но не стоит клеймить ДиСи позором и нехорошими словами. От всех вышеназванных групп он взял все только самое лучшее, и альбом хоть и звучит несколько неожиданно, но все же слушается с удовольствием и долго остается на слуху. Третий альбом немецких пауэрщиков, как и обещали сами музыканты, должен был стать каким-то особенным творением. Я бы сказал проще – «Worlds Apart» это на данный момент самый лучший релиз Silent Force. Предыдущие эксперименты с уклоном на творчество Пристов на альбомах «Infatuator» и «The Empire Of Future» многие поклонники как пауэра, так и вокала ДС Купера восприняли в штыки, но некоторые – такие, например, как я - ждали чего то действительно стоящего из всей этой затеи, однако получилось весьма убого и неудачно. Предыдущий альбом был выпущен целых три года назад и оказалось, что очень много воды утекло с того времени, а посему всем тем, кто желает ознакомиться с новым творением Форсов советую забыть все предыдущие неудачи группы, поскольку она в очередной раз изменилась и теперь ещё более круто, чем прежде. Нет, конечно, банда до сих пор играет пауэр метал, но теперь чисто европейскую его версию с ещё более сильным использованием неоклассических элементов, которые находят своё применение в потрясающе насыщенных аранжировках, а также в целых отрезках клавишных соло партий заменяющих гитарные. И что самое удивительное, так это то, что «Worlds Apart» может в два счёта переплюнуть последнее творение Royal Hunt как по своим мелодическим решениям, так и по техническим. Купер окончательно перестал копировать старину Халфорда (Judas Priest), хотя в некоторых местах влияние Пристов всё-таки осталось, но оно не доминирует, а мне, честно говоря, доставляет только удовольствие. И хотя на диске предостаточно хэппи пауэрных боевиков – прекрасный вокал ДС Купера делает и такие песни на сто процентов приёмлемыми и цепляющими. Ещё одной отличнейшей новостью для всех почитателей этой группы будет то, что Silent Force наконец-то нашли свой собственный звук, в чём им помог, как всегда Денис Вард (Pink Cream 69), а также обрели свой собственный ни с кем несравнимый стиль – с чем я могу только поздравить ребят, ведь они наконец-то перестали быть очередными клонами! Также нужно заметить, что вокал Купера стал ещё сильнее и красивее, а сам музыкальный материал более продуманнее и взрослее. Очень радуют такие композиции как открывающий величественный номер «Ride The Storm», мощный боевик «No One Lives Forever», стопудовый «киллер» «Master Of My Destiny», потрясающая по своей красоте и силе баллада «Spread Your Wings», в начале которой можно услышать голос маленького сына Купера, следующий за ней жирный боевик «Iron Hand», являющийся, несомненно, самым настоящим пиком пластинки. Да и в целом альбом слушается великолепно и оставляет с первого прослушивания максимально приятное впечатление. Советую всем пауэрщикам – «Worlds Apart» это безоговорочный мастхэв! |
