 Для меня всегда было загадкой, почему достойные коллективы часто прекращают свое существование, выпустив от силы один-два альбома, а откровенная бездарность оказывается живучей и продолжает выпускать альбом за альбомом, каким-то образом оказываясь на весьма уважаемых лейблах. Понятия не имею, что такого разглядели менеджеры Century Media в Wolf, однако этот откровенный клон Judas Priest пополам с Iron Maiden вышел именно на этом уважаемом лейбле. Неужели поклонники этих групп настолько примитивны в своем развитии, что хватают все, что похоже на их любимцев, пусть это и откровенная вторичность? Да не уверен, хотя как еще логично объяснить существование Wolf, просто не представляю. Редкостной мерзоты голос Niklas’a Stalvind’a убивает практически всё желание слушать пластинку дальше первых двух треков (да, по большому счету, там не будет никаких открытий), вызывая головную боль и резкое неприятие на долгие часы после того, как “The Black Flame” покинет проигрывать. Воистину, чОрное пламя… Ценителям второразрядных групп из 80-х (хотя половина ныне забытых коллективов даст 100 очков вперед “шведским волкам”) посвящается.
