Founded back in 2003 in Bayreuth, VERMIN have been slowed down due to several Line Up changes. In Late 2005 VERMIN finally started to play live shows, untill 2007 a new Line Up change forced them to a break again.
2008 VERMIN have been able to gather a new and more engaged Line Up. Due to this they became a more artistic demanding Band.
In the past VERMIN could get some Attention in the Metalscene many times.
Due to a 14 Date European Tour in early 2009 as support for the Legendary MASTER (US) with Leadsinger Paul Speckmann VERMIN could prove their qualities on many Stages accross Central Europe.
After this Tour they released the Live EP „Strike your Idols down – LIVE“.
In September of the same year, VERMIN played 4 Shows as Support for the major Death Metal Band SIX FEET UNDER on the Hardstage Festival Tour in Germany and Switzerland.
This Tour was followed by several Shows as Special Guest for JUNGLE ROT on their European Blitzkrieg Tour 2009.
The Year 2010 brought many Club Shows all across Germany, and good Friendships with other Bands for VERMIN. Further they are concentrated to the Songwriting and Preproduction for the first Full Length Album, which will be released in Spring 2011.
During this preproduction VERMIN released the 4 Track EP „At Sanitys Dawn“ in September 2010.
In January 2011 the Band will enter the Aexxys Art Studio in Schwandorf; Germany to start the Recordings for their First Full Length Album, which will be produced by Stephan Fimmers of NECROPHAGIST.
The Album will be entiteled PARADISE and is going to be Released in late March 2011.
To promote their long desired debut Album VERMIN will play several Roadtrips and Club Shows in Germany, Czech Republic and Netherlands in Spring 2011. In Fall and Winter 2011 VERMIN will hit the Road again on a European Tour to promote PARADISE to the european Metalscene.
Meanwhile VERMIN can look back to many Shows as Support for international Metal Acts, and shared stages with Bands such as: SIX FEET UNDER; MASTER; SUIDAKRA; JUNGLE ROT, FLESHLESS, GAMA BOMB, FREEDOM CALL; ELVENKING; FERAL; SPEEDTHEORIE; CASTROFATE and many more
