"Leave Me Bleeding", новое видео шведской группы DEFUELD, доступно для просмотра ниже. Этот трек вышел синглом 21.12.2012 и будет включен в выходящий в апреле новый альбом "Rorschach".
”Impressive”, ”Big hooks with catchy choruses” and ”Music that sounds larger than life” are just some of the words used by critics to describe Defueld’s debut release in 2009, and now it’s time for the next step.
Defueld is a five men strong band with a base in Stockholm, Sweden and consolidates all of that are the best in the Swedish metal sound. Heavy guitar riffs, melodies that will stick to your head, soaring guitar solos and broken rhythms, you want it? It’s there! Not only do they draw their inspiration from the classic hard rock and metal acts, but also from genres like pop, dubstep and electro. Imagine the heaviness of a modern metal act mixed with mind-blowing melodies that screams for attention in a band with three singers that does pitch perfect vocal harmonies.
The band goes head to head with everything they meet, as they proved in 2007/2008 when they went as the first ever heavy metal act to tour Senegal and ending up doing a show in the Dakar suburb Pikin, performing for almost seven thousand vivid music lovers. This event was embraced by national media and said to be one of the biggest things to happen in the Senegalese music stage during the past twenty years.
Defueld lives for live-performances and have in many reviews been described as an amazing live act that always delivers. Anyone who has ever seen a Defueld show knows that there is no holding back. Be there rain or shine, in health or in sickness, Defueld will be on stage performing to the max to please the crowd. So, fuel up the van and let’s take over the world.
The self-titled debut album that went into stores in Sweden in March of 2009 went directly into the hearts of people and the Swedish charts as the fourth most sold metal act. This is even more impressive considering that this result was created by the band themselves as they created their own label and decided to take on the world on their own. The response from critics has been almost unanimously top points and many have written in their reviews that they where already at that point looking forward to the next discographic step. One critic even went as far as asking the question ’why is this band not bigger and why I am not seeing them perform at major festival scenes?’.
The new album, named ‘Rorschach’, truly aspire to be a modern classic. With it’s nine tracks it spans a width rarely seen and guarantees that there is a song for everyone there. Metal-heads as well as general music lovers will find a lot to enjoy and will surely play it again and again. The vocals stretches from aggressive growls to angelic falsettos and the heavy guitar riffs ensures that it’s always the melody, not the heaviness in it self, that drives the songs forward. Add to that ingeniously synth melodies with a well thought through heavy metal mix and you’ve got yourself an album of the year.
