CIRCLE OF WITCHES was formed in Salerno (Italy) in March 2004 by the will of Mario Bove and Giuseppe Caputo to play something like te 70’s Black Sabbath hard’ n’ heavy and similar. The band moves its first steps as a four pieces. Since the beginning, although the several line-up changes (starting as a 4 and 5 piece band) they play anywhere as much as possible. C.o.W. are set-up as “power trio” since 2007. Their style becomes more straight and “granitic” with strong influences from Motorhead, Kyuss, Voivod, Fu Manchu, passing through the blues and rock roots. The lyrics of the songs deal with different subjects such as magic, urban legends, sex and rock’ n’ roll life-style.

Live set is for the band the most comfortable dimension: the sweat males the stage slippery and the amplifiers reach the peak! It is incredible to see how the band’s music can even turn into real shows with frequent dialogues with the audience, self parody and good theatrical skills. The last months of 2012, CoW had their "Hell 'n' Roll European Tour", playing in London and in Austria.
The bands has recorded several demos, two ep, one full cd, as well as four videoclips (all self-produced).
The band is now looking for a contract to record their first full-length and to play as much gigs as possible in Italy and in the rest of the world!
