EAT THE GUN - providing you with straight-in-your-face Rock since 2002. It all started in late 2002, when EAT THE GUN released their self-produced debut EP „Kingsize“ which became „Demo of the Month“ in the German Metal Hammer magazine. The four youngsters made it into one of the biggest German rock magazines and sold all 2.500 copies of their EP in the following months.In 2003 and 2004 EAT THE GUN played about 100 club and festival shows all over Germany. In 2004 they were invited to support Finish rock superstars HIM.

In 2004 EAT THE GUN recorded their debut album “Cross Your Fingers” which was released about two years later in March 2006 on the bands’ new founded label Eattitude Records. In the same year EAT THE GUN were invited to support one of Germany’s biggest, and internationally known rock bands the TOTEN HOSEN on one of their summer open airs in Weilburg playing in front of 20.000 rock fans.
From 2006 to 2007 EAT THE GUN toured England, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Croatia, and Spain. They played some of Germany’s biggest open air festivals in front of an estimate number of 100.000 people. The national rock press praised the band and their performances while the new album received outstanding ratings.
In early 2008 EAT THE GUN were ready to record their second studio album „Super Pursuit Mode Aggressive Thrash Distortion“ which was released on March 13, 2009. “S.P.M.A.T.D.” became a big success for EAT THE GUN and was praised by the national and international rock press a great deal. In 2009 EAT THE GUN joined the Volkswagen Sound Foundation Family for whom they provided the soundtrack for the VW Scirocco car racing game. The game was downloaded over 3,5 million times in the iTunes App Store worldwide. EAT THE GUN released two music video of the songs “Solitary Sinners” and “Viva La Insane”. The “Viva La Insane” clip was played in rotation on German iMusc1 and Yavido TV and the album made it to the Top 10 of Germany’s Metal/Rock DJ Charts where it stayed for eight weeks.
With their third studio album “Runner” EAT THE GUN had their first international release in July 2011. The album was released in North America a month later and made it to the Top20 of the US College Radio Charts among international bands like Anthrax, Trivium, and Mastodon. In the same year the band was invited to play with DANKO JONES and DUFF McKAGAN’s LOADED followed by the request to support DORO on her December 2011 tour all over Germany.
In late 2012 EAT THE GUN started to produce their fourth album which is going to be released in the fall of 2013.
