The band’s first contact was when guitar player/songwriter Sauli Ranta and the singer Rebecka met at 7 eleven where Rebecka worked in 2005. Sauli used to buy cigarettes from Rebecka from day to day and they started talking and found out they shared an interest in music. Two years later they decided to start a band - Beyond Visions.

They started to jam and record a few songs Sauli had written. By time Beyond Visions found its first full lineup and the band tried to find its identity and started to bring more metal into the sound. The band went from grunge and rock into a heavier, more melodic type of metal sound.

Beyond Visions played live a lot and continued to shape and take form. The band took a more technical approach when guitarist Alexander and drummer Henrik joined the band. Together with Rebecka the three gave the band a special and unique sound.

Now Beyond Visions consists of 3 members - Rebecka Heijel, Henrik Jansson and Alexander Berg.
Going to 3 members really has made the band to focus on its strength and aim to make music they love, creating heavy, melodic and progressive metal for the masses.

Now Beyond Visions is fully focusing on releasing their debut album - "Your Face Is Familiar".
