Etched in Stone is an American death metal band that was formed in 2006 in Modesto, California. The band comprises vocalist Brian Lewis, guitarists Eric Wolford and Ryan Erwin, drummer Tristen Costa, keyboardist Nathan Andersen and bassist Travis Miller. Etched in Stone is quickly on the rise in the scene, setting a new precedent by fitting the standard death metal genre whilst incorporating their own unique sound. Their debut album, Emulate the Defiler, was self released (Digital download) on March 19th, 2009.
