Russian band LANTINOR was formed in 1992. It's style could be named as progressive-rock. The initial line-up consisting of Alexander Kaminsky (vocals, guitars), Gennadiy Samarin (bass) and Vladimir Malishkin (drums), with Fedor Golev (guitars) and Stas Voronkov (keyboards) joining some time later to complete the line-up. They released the album "Chronicles of Lantinor. 1 era" in 1996 and played a few concerts and then folded. Band leader Kaminsky would continue to use the band name for the next few years however, using guest musicians for recording purposes. In this era the albums "Tales of the Forest" (2001), "The Symphony of the Nine Planets" (2004), "Annals of Lantinor. 2 era" (2004) and "Comrade" (2005) were released.
A new version of Lantinor solidified in 2005, consisting of Alexander Kaminsky (vocals, guitars), Dmitry Miroshnichenko (guitars, bass) Zlobina Kate (vocals), Sergey Krotov (flute) and Eugene Kulick (drums). One album was recorded and released by this version of the band: "Book of Spells" in 2008, followed by "Last Wonder of the World" in 2009 made by a new and downscaled version of Lantinor.
A third version of Lantinor appeared in 2013, consisting of Alexander Kaminsky (vocals, guitars), Alina Bulat (vocals), Anton Telkov (strings, percussion) and Dmitrij Miroshnichenko (bass). They released the album "Ensign of Fairies. Book 1" on Russian label MALS Records, which presented this veteran Russian band to an international audience for just about the first time. Other albums - "Chrystal mountain club show" (2019) and "Through December Jungle's Door" (2018), release on Russian label "Endless Quest Media" represent numerous styles - from acoustic up to hard-rock.
