Cardiant was formed in early 2000's. In 2003, Lauri joined the band. Cardiant recorded several demos, before getting a record deal with Underground Symphony.
Cardiant recorded the Midday Moon -album in 2005. Unfortunately Underground Symphony had problems with releasing and that's why the album was only released in Japan. Cardiant didn't have a permanent singer and they were forced to have Janne Saksa as a session singer on the album.
Cardiant recorded two promos in years 2006 and 2007, but it seemed hard to form a permanent line-up. It was time to take a few steps back and think whether to continue or not.
The summer of 2007 was the turning point in Cardiant's history as Mikko (bass) and Marko (keyboards) joined the band. In addition to their huge know-how of their own instruments, they brought a lot of power to our live backging vocals. Singer Erik Karhatsu joined the band in year 2008 after his experiment in Finnish Idols.
