My name is Elliot Vernon, i'm 19 years old and from Hull, Yorkshire in England. I'm principally the keyboard player of Ravenage, but i'm also a guitarist which leads me to write my own music, similar to yet different from my main band. My music is influenced by epic folk metal bands such as Equilibrium, Moonsorrow and Falkenbach, and my inspiration comes from the great people and friends around me who are already gaining success as solo acts such as Guthrum, Oakenshield and Shieldwall. My lyrics are based on wonderful things such as Norse Mythology and the fantastic writings of J.R.R. Tolkien, and I am always trying to learn more about these subjects in order to enhance my lyrical ability. All recording and post-production is done by me in my home studio.
