Lemming Project was founded in 1986, so it was one of the first German death metal bands ever. In 1991, self-financed promotional split single was released with the English band Skyclad. That same year, then the debut was released. The second album, "Hate and Despise" was also distributed in the U.S. on Century Media Records. Lemming Project toured including Eisenvater and Pungent Stench in Germany and Europe. The band broke up in 1995.
