Late 2003 Yannic and Robin decided tot start a Goregrind band named Carnal Rancidity. Soon they discovered that the name didnt suck enough. Therefore it was changed to Rectal Smegma, lord knows why.
This was only for a good year, before Madhur decided to leave the band to become a profesional Cook. Same line up but without Madhur managed to record the first album ‘Licking a Leper’. The album was released under own management.
Just when the album was released the bassplayer Robin decided to quit the band as well because he felt his dick was to small.
After that the band played on for 3 years with the following line up:
• Yannic: vocals
• Frans: guitar
• Walter: drums
Then in 2007 Madhur discovers his cooking skills sucked and quit his job to return to Rectal Smegma again. This time as a bassplayer since they lacked one.
This line up was to stay for a little longer now. Till 2011 the line up was steady and in some way Rectal Smegma managed to record 3 new albums:
• Sex, Drugs and Rock ‘n Drol (split cd with Namek)
• Keep on Smiling (full length)
• Split cd with Cuntgrinder
Then somewhere in 2011 Madhur left the band again. So no bassplayer again. Robin decided to pick up his gear again en step up. After a very little while he discovered his dick was still to small he left again. That was were Baard came in to play. Baard already experienced the band on 2 Europe Tours. First tour with Gorefathers ‘Rompeprop’. Al through the south of Europe the two Dutch Goregrind bands played and believe it or nor, it was a succes! Thanks to this tour the next tour was organised. This time together with Rompeprop again and Cliteater ! The east of Eupope was target of this mission this time. For a small 2 weeks there was madness, lots of beer, and beer and they drank some beer. Shows went well by the way!
Back to 2011. Rectals Smegma records their new full lenght ‘Because we Care’. Just recorded and released for yet another Europe tour this time with ‘Splathered Mermaids’.
And now the relax, drink beer, play shows and drink more beer.
After a while the first line up was established.
• Yannic: vocals
• Madhur: guitar
• Frans: guitar
• Robin: bass
• Walter: drums
