Eruption started in late 2004, when Klemen Kalin (vocals) and Tim Tajič (guitars) got together with a bunch of guys with a shared passion for thrash metal. They started jamming together at a shitty rehearsal space, covering classics by Exodus, Forbidden, Metallica and Testament, all the while writing their own material. When Borut Rampih (drums), Matic Jeraj (guitars) and Juš Premrov (bass guitars) joined the band, the first steady line-up was formed. All this was happening just before the new wave of thrash became a big thing, so they didn't really know what to expact from the public. Lucky for them, the response was great!

The new line-up kept on playing live and writing new material, which resulted in their 2009 debut album ''Lifeless Paradise'', released through a local record label.
In 2011 Rampih and Erjavec left the band due to personal reasons. That's when Ivan Cepanec (drums – Dickless Tracy) and Andrej Čuk (guitars) joined the band. The new guys filled the void well, resulting in an even more agressived approach to writing music. To date Eruption had shared the stage with acts such as D.R.I., Exodus, Warbringer and many more.
