MINDWARS spawned spontaneously from the outreach of Roby Vitari to Mike Alvord. After Mike’s departure from HOLY TERROR in 1989 he continued writing material in the vein of NWOBHM and 90's speed/thrash metal although never producing anything until now. Roby was in HEADCRASHER when he saw HOLY TERROR in Milan, Italy in 1989 and he and Mike discovered their Italian connection, Mike’s maternal family being Calabrese. Fast forward to 2013 when Roby departed from JESTER BEAST and reached out to Mike inquiring about a musical project. The two corresponded and collaborated through the internet between Los Angeles and Turin. Pleased with their results they solicited the efforts of Danny Z on bass to round out this power trio.
