Mechanical Man is the Moscow progressive metal band formed in 2012.
The band consists of the experienced musicians, for whom «the quality of a sound», and «the deepest attention to details and nuances» are not just the words, but the basis of their musical perspective.The band’s music combines melody, «aggression» and drive with the pure male vocal. The main intention of the group was to create the music technically saturated but at the same time melodious, full of drive and energy and to get lots of people interested in it.
In August 2013 Mechanical Man released its first EP-album «White Out». It received many positive references from the audience and musical reviewers. The band has performed dozens of concerts in the Moscow region including the support of finnish trash-metal band Bloodred Hourglass.
In June 2014 the band released single Madhouse which was produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, Lordi, Apocalyptica, Moonspell, Amorphis) and supported Sonata Arctica during their gig in Moscow, November 2.
In summer 2015 the band supported Blind Guardian in Moscow (5th June) and played with Leprous and Dream Theater at MetropolisFest in Minsk, Belarus (25th June). On October 1 the band released their first self produced LP entitled «Mechanical Man».
