Due to the fact that Simon O., vocalist of Fungoid Stream, became enthusiastic with the good response of the debut CD of this band, he decided to get into another sub genre of the doom metal. He felt comfortable with the hypnotic atmospheres of the most extreme doom acts, such as Bunkur, Sunn O))) and Trollmann av Ildtoppberg. So, in 2005, he composed, played, recorded and mixed the first album of his own drone doom metal project, called Qhwertt. The first album is released by Furias Records in 2006.
